Activities
Cordova offers a wide range of outdoor activities including kayaking and boating in Prince William Sound & Orca Inlet, hiking trails in the Chugach National Forests, Childs Glacier viewing at the US Forest Service recreational facilities, picnicking, photography opportunities, fowl/deer hunting and salt/fresh water sport fishing (charters available)!
In May the Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival is held; as many as 5 million shorebirds rest and feed here during spring migration.
Additionally, other places of interest include the Cordova Historical Museum and the Native Village of Eyak's Ilanka Cultural Center.
